Ark Pet Videos
The Ark now has videos of many of the animals available for adoption. You will find them in the pet listings on the cats and dogs pages, and you can view them all at The Ark's YouTube Channel. When you visit the channel, click on the "see all" link in the right column, so that you can view all of the Ark videos.
Cats at the Shelter are litter box trained, tested for feline leukemia/FIV, vaccinated and dewormed. AGE DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately, most of the orphaned animals who come to the shelter looking for homes don't bring birth certificates. Sometimes we know our pets' ages. Sometimes we don't. So we make our best guess by the condition of their teeth. Sometimes we are fooled. We ask that if you are concerned about the age of the pet you adopt, you take the pet to your veterinarian for the vet's best educated guess. If siblings are adopted, the adoption fee for the second cat is waived.

NEEDED NOW: Volunteers who like cats, to spend some one on one time with cats who need further socialization with people. This requires patience, and can be very rewarding. Personal contact, on a regular basis, can make a cat more interested in human attention, and increase the likelihood of adoption.
