FRANKIE is a male Pomeranian pup, born in January, 2010. A cute little blue-eyed, cream and orange fluff ball, Frankie is very playful. He gets along great with other dogs, too. With a sweet personality and a highly active temperament, he is full of energy. Frankie is our special needs boy in need of your help. Before this little blue-eyed, cream and orange fluff ball can be adopted, he has a SERIOUS health problem that needs to be addressed. He's been diagnosed with a faulty heart valve, which ultimately leads to congestive heart failure. That's the bad news. The GOOD news is that Frankie's heart condition is TOTALLY treatable!! Open heart surgery can correct his faulty heart valve. Without it, he may have less than a year to live. With it, Frankie can live a long happy life with no problems at all. The cost of corrective surgery is three thousand five hundred dollars! And since the Ark depends SOLELY on donations, we're turning to you for help. You can donate directly to "Frankie's Fund", a special Ark account set up at all branches of Union Trust just FOR Frankie's surgery. Or, you can send a donation to The Ark for Frankie's Fund, PO Box 276, Cherryfield ME 04622.
