WOODY is a white neutered male with bright orange splotches who purrs in delight when his long white fur is brushed and combed. Born in June 2008, he is a former stray, and definitely wants to be an indoors-only fellow where safety is guaranteed. BECKETT is a long-haired neutered kitten, born in June 2009. Yet another stray left outside to fend for himself, he's having a hard time adjusting to shelter life. Beckett has good reason to distrust the intentions of people, and he's none too sure of the intentions of the other cats either. DUNCAN is a long haired neutered boy. A handsome Coon-type tiger, probably born around October 2007, Duncan came to us as a shy stray, and he is just beginning to learn that the world may not be as frightening as he's experienced so far. He's an indoor-outdoor fellow who gets along with his feline roommates. While Duncan is still shy with people he doesn't know, he enjoys being petted and brushed. This gentle boy will make a great companion once he's in his own home. Duncan just needs a lot of one-on-one time with someone who loves him. Click on his photo for a larger view.
PATRICK & SQUIDWARD are neutered 6 month-old kittens. Rescued as strays, they came to us as shy boys, but are fast discovering the benefits of human attention. Patrick is a small youngster with soft gray fur, while Squidward is a classic gray tiger. Both cats are great with other felines, but they do like to be together. PURTY GIRL is a spayed 9 year-old dark gray and white sweetie. She's a bit shy but very friendly. Once she feels comfortable and has a bit of time to adjust to her new "forever" home, she'll be by your side hoping for attention. She has a medical problem with her vaginal area, nothing serious, but she does need a bit of assistance to stay nice and clean. An indoors only kitty, Purty Girl is a Golden Years pet (no adoption fee for seniors), who would be a quiet best friend enjoying time on a comfy lap with her very own person. ROCKY is a 5 year-old orange tiger, a friendly neutered male, easy going and affectionate. A Golden Years pet (no adoption fee for seniors), he's very affectionate, happy to be petted, delighted to be held, and totally contented curled up in a warm lap. When his person developed Alzheimer's, Rocky came to us along with his best friend, Snickers, who has since been adopted. Rocky is a wonderful boy, hoping for his new home very soon. SISSY is a small, black and white beauty, born in May of 2007. Surrendered for financial reasons, this spayed girl is exceptionally sweet, albeit a trifle shy upon first meeting. When Sissy is not sleeping in the sun, she's happy to be playing with her toys. But she's happiest when she's being petted and held. ABBEY is a small spayed girl, a gray tiger with peach colored calico overtones and beautiful gold eyes. Under a year old, she is a bit timid after being rescued from an abusive situation, but she does enjoy being petted and brushed. GWEN is a black and white tuxedo born in 2006. A small spayed female with no tail, she's indoors-only, happy to be petted and brushed, totally content to cuddle in a lap. MALLORY is a spayed, black and white tuxedo with medium length fur. A 2 year-old, playful, petite girl, she likes to be held and petted. Mallory would like to be your one and only feline companion. WILLOW is a lovely, peach colored calico born in 2008. She came to us as a very shy stray–who knows what might have happened to her before she arrived here–in need of loving attention. Now that she's learning what that means, Willow is warming up, purring in appreciation. Although she does get along with other cats and would do well with a feline companion, she wants a quiet home with no children under 10.
