RILEY is an affectionate, 2 year old, black and white spayed female. She's a friendly, outgoing, sociable kitty who likes to be petted and held. She's used to being around dogs, too. If you're looking for a well socialized feline, Riley would like to go home with you. Click on her photo for a larger view.
BIJOU is a silver and white cat, new to the shelter and none too sure that she belongs in this strange place. Approximately 2 years old, Bijou does not yet trust the intentions of the humans here, but she'll be a nice cat once she settles in. We'll have more information about Bijou after she's been here long enough to get to know us. Click on her photo for a larger view.
EMMA is a 6 year old, declawed, spayed female. A pretty, shorthaired red torbie, a mix of red tortoise shell splashed over gray and black tabby markings, Emma is a quiet, indoor-only cat who enjoys being petted, and adores a soft lap. She can be independent and dominant with other cats (declawed cats often discover that the best offense is a good defense), so an adult-only home without other pets would be perfect for Emma. Because this poor little cat was thrown against a wall, abused when she was young, she is a little hand shy with new people, but Emma warms up quickly to a gentle touch. POPEYE is a 1 1/2 year old, black cutie with a tiny white spot on his chest. With his outgoing personality, he is full of play, while he'll purr up a storm as soon as affection comes his way. This neutered boy loves to be petted and held, settling right in to any available lap. Click on his photo for a larger view.
TONTO is a 6 month-old neutered male. With his Lone Ranger black mask over his white face and bib, he's as cute as can be, but he's very scared here at the shelter. While Tonto gets along with other cats, he's shy and skittish with people. Tonto is in need of a quiet, adult-only home with patient, understanding people to bring him out of his shell. ASHTON is a spayed female, approximately 5 years old. She is grey with a white bib and white "double" paws. She almost looks like she's wearing a mask. Not only is she very pretty, Ashton is also a very nice cat. New to the shelter, she is settling in well. She will adapt quickly and easily to a new home with you. Come check her out. She's worth a visit to the shelter. Click on her photo for a larger view.
EBONY, as her name suggests, is shiny and black. Her yellow eyes stand in startling contrast to her dark coat, making her an exceptional beauty. She is 14 years old. Ebony is a Golden Years Cat (no adoption fee for Seniors.) She has been spayed. Because Ebony has been declawed, she needs an indoor home. A quiet place with an older person or couple would be appropriate because of her age. No small children, please. Click on her photo for a larger view.
ACE is new to the shelter. We'll have more information as soon as he's been with us long enough to evaluate his personality. Click on his photo for a larger view.
BENNETT is new to the shelter. We'll have more information as soon as he's been with us long enough to evaluate his personality. Click on his photo for a larger view.
BLAZE is a 1 1/2 year old neutered male, who came to us along with his brother, Dash. He's a cute black kitty with white splotches throughout his coat. Blaze gets along with other cats and enjoys being petted, but he's quite new to the shelter, and is very scared right now. He' can't imagine what he's doing here and he hopes a special someone will take him home real soon. Click on his photo for a larger view.
DASH is a 1 1/2 year old neutered male who came to us along with his brother, Blaze. He's mostly white with black throughout his coat. While he gets along with other cats, he's a bit shy of people, and scared of being touched. Even so, he does enjoy being petted, once he realizes good things are coming his way. Dash is a nice cat, hoping for a "forever" home of his own real soon. Click on his photo for a larger view.
MOLLY is about a year old. A spayed female, she's mostly black with smatterings of orange. Molly tends to keep to herself at the shelter, although she doesn't mind other cats and she does enjoy being petted. She's a little hand shy, so a home with no children under 8 years old would be perfect for her. Click on her photo for a larger view.
